This summer I thought it would be fun for Maddie and I to make something together and she’s been wanting to make a doll bed.
It took us 3 weeks from start to finish {it was really hot and humid so we had to take a lot of Popsicle breaks!}
It was really involved so I’m just going to show you some picture of the process without explaining everything.
Okay?

And the princess Kit, lived Happily – Ever – After, in her new castle bed!
I honestly think I could have built a child sized castle bed in the same time frame. Working with tiny parts and pieces was more difficult than I expected! But it was fun working together, especially when we got to take a Popsicle break!

Ask Maddie if I can come over and play dolls with her!!! Have you ever thought of building a dollhouse? I bet you could make a really outstanding one! This is the most amazing doll bed I've ever seen!
Your daughter is so lucky to have you as her mom! I would have died to have something like that for my American Girl dolls as a child. Yes…I had several of those dolls and loved them!
This is the coolest thing, ever! And I love the fact that you worked together on this… I sense a budding DIY-er in your daughter.
