$100 Giveaway!
We made a little more progress this weekend besides the porch! We also did a little makeover on Maddie’s room too.
Nothing big, just some curtains and new pillows for her bed but it made a big difference! I guess it’s not hard to make THIS look better!
I received a $100 gift card from Better Homes and Gardens to purchase and review a few items from their product line at Walmart. Sure Thing!
So, I took Maddie and let her pick out what she wanted. We were there for a couple hours because…well, there were a lot of possibilities and we had to look at every single one of them. It was pretty fun to watch her make “her own” decisions! I think she did well.
She chose a double curtain rod, purple faux silk curtains and sheer privacy panels. I like to hang drapery high but the curtains only came in 84″ length so we grabbed a bench from the guest room and hung the curtains above that.
She also picked out 2 cute, black, ruffle pillows. Love them!
The best thing about this deal is I get to give one of you a $100 Walmart gift card so you can go spend a couple hours selecting items for your home! Sweet! (OK, maybe it won’t take you several hours!)

Love the curtain rod (and the awesome pillows of course)! Will have to go check them out at Wal-Mart. We moved in a few months ago and still haven’t hung the new curtains I bought for my daughters because I can’t find any double curtain rods that I like that aren’t a fortune.

I love the curtains. It makes the room. I also like the white furniture. This is my plan for my daughter’s room. She has a white bed, but nothing else is white. I need to paint the dresser, her small table, & bookcase white.
